Talking to Gloria.tv, Bishop Athanasius Schneider asks Pope Leo XIV to permit the episcopal consecrations of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. Since Leo XIV continually calls for peace in the world, the bishop argues that he should also foster peace within the Church. If he cannot make peace with the faithful and clergy of the FSSPX — Catholics who love and pray for the Pope — then his appeals for peace will lose credibility.
