Football Match Broadcast Inside Church. Worse than Germany: A football match between France and Norway, which France won 4–1, was broadcast inside a church in Ligny-en-Barrois, France. According to the parish, the church was used because of the heat wave, providing spectators with a cooler venue. During the event, the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, a symbol of the French Revolution, was played inside the church.

26 neoconservative theology professors from Franciscan University of Steubenville - including Scott Hahn, John Bergsma, Michael Waldstein, Mark Miravalle, and university president Fr. Dave Pivonka - has published an open letter urging the FSSPX not to proceed with episcopal consecrations without a pontifical mandate. They represent a substantial portion of Steubenville's influential Theology Department (about 30 faculty members). The arcument is that no crisis in the Church justifies an act that would further damage the Church's visible unity with the Pope.

Open letter addressed to the SSPX leadership by nearly all the theologians of Franciscan University of Steubenville. «We write not as adversaries, but as fellow Christians who love the Church, which is built on Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and who, like you, long for the salvation of souls. Your love for the beauty of the traditional liturgy and your reverence in worship witness your earnest desire to serve the Lord. We share this love and desire.... The treasures of Catholic Tradition do not belong outside communion with Peter; they belong at the heart of the Church.»

Franciscan University Leaders and Theologians Issue Open Letter to the SSPX

“Do you also want to leave?” (John 6:67)
Open Letter to the Society of Saint Pius X (General House)

Dear Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General
Dear Members of the General Council
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
We write not as adversaries, but as fellow Christians who love the Church, which is built on Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and who, like you, long for the salvation of souls.
Your love for the beauty of the traditional liturgy and your reverence in worship witness your earnest desire to serve the Lord. We share this love and desire.
With humility we ask you to reconsider the announced consecration of bishops, scheduled for July 1st. It would cement and deepen the already existing separation between the Society and the See of Peter. Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed to the Father, “that all may be one” (John 17:21). Unity in the Church is not merely practical; it belongs to the very will of Christ. The Church is one because Christ is one. We are convinced that every …

Cardinal Müller at Consistory: "We Must Respond to the Lefebvrists"

Cardinal Gerhard Müller spoke at the June 26 consistory about the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), IlGiornale.it reports.
He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims.
He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church.
The Vatican should prepare to welcome them back by proposing a structure modelled on the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which was established by Pope John Paul II in 1988.
Cardinal Müller's intervention was received without comment during the session.

Part 4 - Ineffabilis Deus - How the Church Proclaims the Definition of the Immaculate Conception
How the Roman Church Proclaims Mary's Glory – Immaculate Conception.
Ordinary Teaching of the Roman Church
These truths, so generally accepted and put into practice by the faithful, indicate how zealously the Roman Church, mother and teacher of all Churches, has continued to teach this doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin. Yet the more important actions of the Church deserve to be mentioned in detail. For such dignity and authority belong to the Church that she alone is the center of truth and of Catholic unity. It is the Church in which alone religion has been inviolably preserved and from which all other Churches must receive the tradition of the Faith.
The same Roman Church, therefore, desired nothing more than by the most persuasive means to state, to protect, to promote and to defend the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. This …ተወሳኺ

Missing Bellaigue Monk Found Safe 170 Kilometers Away

A 29-year-old monk from the independent Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in central France, who had been missing since Tuesday evening, was found safe on Friday.
The Benedictine-inspired community in Virlet, in the Puy-de-Dôme department, was formerly affiliated with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). It aligned in 2019 with the movement associated with Bishop Richard Williamson.
French gendarmes launched a search operation on Wednesday morning, deploying ground teams and aerial resources to locate the missing religious.
According to LaMontagne.fr, the monk was found alive and without apparent injuries near Limoges, approximately 170 kilometers (105 miles) west of the monastery.
Authorities have not disclosed how the monk came to be so far from the monastery or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. They have released no information suggesting criminal involvement, nor have they indicated whether he left voluntarily or experienced a medical or psychological …ተወሳኺ

Cardinal: "Consistory Is Tightly Controlled"

The consistory that began today "feels like it was organized by a Human Resources department," one curial cardinal told the Substack.com-Account 'The Pillar' on June 26. The report relies entirely on anonymous sources.
"It's all too tightly controlled. It doesn't feel like there's freedom to discuss the issues we need to discuss. Instead, we're being led by very specific questions on very specific issues in very small groups, without space for open discussion," the cardinal said.
A second cardinal expressed uncertainty about the consistory's agenda: "These are surely very important societal issues and challenges, but I am not sure what we are supposed to add to the discussion beyond talking about personal experiences."
He added: "I don't know what the Holy Father expects of this consistory, if I'm being honest."
"There's too much control over the topics, and too much dispersion. Consistories usually focused on a single topic. How are you supposed to have a substantive discussion in a …ተወሳኺ

The
horrifying video of a young French boy being beaten to death by five migrants sparked outrage when the story broke on X but was ignored by the mainstream media. The footage, which circulated on social media, shows the group continuing to beat and kick Louis while laughing, smiling, and taunting him as he choked on his own blood. The attackers shared the video with their associates before anyone called emergency services.
On the evening of June 19, 17-year-old Louis was lured to a construction site on Quai d’Alsace in Narbonne, where prosecutors say he was ambushed in a premeditated attack. He was not found until the following morning, when a construction worker discovered him unconscious with severe head and facial injuries, including bruising around his eyes and bleeding …

Leo XIV: "War Never Blessed By God": At today's extraordinary consistory, Leo XIV once again rejected the just war theory, declaring: "War is never worthy of man, and is never blessed by God." He also announced that the extraordinary consistory would become an annual event, with meetings lasting approximately two days held around the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul on 29 June. Furthermore, Leo XIV described his exercise of the papal office as that of one who 'asks' rather than commands.

Pride Toronto: will anyone remember the murder Emanuel Jaques?

The month of June is all about celebrating pride in Toronto. All the sexual letters of the alphabet are in full display around the city. There will be a pride parade and many other events. Even the Toronto Zoo has gone wild for pride. Schools fly the pride flag. Sporting events celebrate pride. Public libraries offer a program the drag queen story for children.
But will anyone remember the murder Emanuel Jaques? He was an innocent 12 year old boy trying to earn a few dollars for his poor family. He was lured, then tortured and sodomized to death by three men: Saul David Betesh, Robert Kribs and Joseph Woods. Two were homosexuals and one a pedophile. The three were convicted of murder.
Jaques was born in 1964. He was the son of an immigrant Portuguese family. He worked as a shoeshine on Yonge Street, in downtown Toronto. The boy was offered $35 to move photographic equipment from an apartment above a massage parlour. It was a lie. Once there, Jaques was sexually abused for twelve hours …

Zac Davis, associate editor of the Jesuits' America magazine, criticized the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel after Eucharists on X.com: "I cannot express how much I dislike the St. Michael Prayer after Mass." He argued its language "breeds a sense of paranoia and cynicism" and that it "does not belong in the liturgy." Composed by Pope Leo XIII in 1884, the prayer was recited after Low Masses until the post-Vatican II reforms and has recently been reintroduced after Eucharists in many U.S. dioceses.

Jesuit-run America magazine editor condemns St. Michael Prayer after Mass - LifeSite

Thu Jun 25, 2026 - 2:28 pm EDTThu Jun 25, 2026 - 8:18 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — The associate editor of the heterodox Jesuit-run America magazine expressed his revulsion toward the recitation of the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel after Mass in a Wednesday social media post.
Zac Davis, who is also co-host of the “Jesuitical” podcast, wrote on X, “I cannot express how much I dislike the St. Michael Prayer after Mass. It is so, so jarring to me every time.”
“To say nothing of the intent/content of the prayer, the language, and repetition and prominence given to it breed a sense of paranoia and cynicism. Instead of going out to evangelize the world, everyone is ready to go to war with it,” he wrote, replying to a Jesuit praising the recitation of the prayer after Mass.
Against Davis’ last point, John Monaco pointed out that evangelization of the world and going to war with it “aren’t mutually exclusive.”
Davis went on to share his belief that the St. Michael Prayer is acceptable …

Parish in Paris: "Prayer" Praising Pride Procession

Worse than Germany: An "interfaith prayer vigil" linked to a homosexual march will take place on Friday, 26 June, in the Salle des Colonnes, the parish hall of Saint-Eustache Church in central Paris, France.
The huge and very famous Church of St Eustache was built between 1532 and 1633 and is the second largest church in the city, just behind Notre-Dame.
The event is being organized by the homosexual organization D&J Arc-en-ciel (David & Jonathan) together with affiliated groups.
According to the organizers, the vigil is intended to offer "a moment of gathering, prayer and celebration of our diversity" on the eve of the annual Marche des Fiertés (homosexual march).
The Archdiocese of Paris has been led by Archbishop Laurent Ulrich since 2022.
