Brilyn Hollyhand, der frühere Kovorsitzende des Jugendbeirats der Republikanischen Partei (RNC), schrieb auf X: „Das ist schwere Gotteslästerung. Der Glaube ist keine Requisite. Man muss sich nicht als Retter inszenieren, wenn die eigene Erfolgsbilanz für sich sprechen sollte.“
